I think the picture should be removed from this page since it obviously shows a minigun.
- No. The Minigun has multiple barrels; the turret in the screenshot is obviously sporting one. Seeing as how we haven't seen the Minigun in any Left 4 Dead 2 media, it seems pretty clear at this point that the Browning is replacing it. I think there's actually only two of these in the entire game. There's one at the Plantation (where it typically does no good given its limited field of fire) and one mounted on the back of the truck near the helicopter at the close of The Parish (where I can't really see anyone stopping since at that point they probably have a horde of zombies and a Tank or two besides behind them). I haven't seen any others yet, which is a little annoying - I liked holding off hordes during Crescendos with a mounted minigun. When the Army bugged out, they took the beloved Ma Deuce with them. I have personally used th heavy machine gun and can say that if it was placed beter it could have been the bestthing in the game butdue to the stupid places they put them it has become the worst thing in the game --User:Mud kipz

Damage?[]
The infobox claims the 50 cal does 50 damage per shot, but that can't be right. It essentially explodes a common infected in one hit; the AK-47 is listed as doing 58 damage per shot and it doesn't kill common infected in one hit. 68.126.4.239 05:42, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Some weapons are scripted to kill Common Infected outright with a single shot regardless of how much damage they do. The damage is probably measured from firing it on a Tank or something. Sera404 06:05, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
