i only play the game every now and then and usually whenever im confronted by a witch and the other three survivors are AI controlled i get past without startling her, but a few days ago bill startled her and instead of attacking him she charged right at me, i thought AI didnt disturb the witch, please can you explain this?

As Stigma said; yes, they do startle the Witch. However, I do not have an explanation for why she attacked you instead of Bill. Are you sure that it said "Bill startled the Witch"? Perhaps, were you in between the Witch and Bill, thereby forcing the Witch to attack you instead? --The Fifth Dog 02:04, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

it said bill startled the witch but he was behind and to the left of me when he startled her a friend has said she might have attacked me by glitching and reverting to the original witch design where she attacks everyone not just the player who starled her Danku777 20:56, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

If Bill was somewhere behind you, you were probably in the Witch's way. When that occurs, she is forced to instead attack whoever blocked her from her target, rather than her original target. --The Fifth Dog 20:59, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
