Notes[]
- In Dying Light, a store named "Left 4 Bread" can be found, an obvious nod to Left 4 Dead.
- The Guitar and Golf Club are classified as one-handed weapons despite being held with two hands in combat.
- Some Infected from Dying Light are similar to ones in the Left 4 Dead series.
- The Toad is a fragile Infected with the ability to spit acid at Survivors, much like the Spitter.
- The Bomber is a fragile Infected that explodes itself, dealing damage to anything in a three meter radius and attracting Infected with it's noise, it also explodes on death. This is similar to the Boomer who does explode on death and attracts Infected, and in earlier versions of Left 4 Dead, dealt damage instead of attracting Infected.
- The Screamer is an Infected child who as it's name implies, screams when threatened, dealing damage and disorienting Survivors nearby, as well as attracting Infected, similar to the cut-Infected Screamer from Left 4 Dead.
